Raid your Kitchen for Homemade Toddler Toys

Do you feel like you are constantly buying new toys for your toddler? Are you racking your brain trying to figure out which new toy would be best? Give yourself a rest for a few days, dig through your kitchen and your closet, and you might just find some perfect homemade toddler toys.
Kids so often want to play with stuff that wasn't made for them. It may be time to finally give in and let the kids play with "toys" that aren't toys. Homemade toddler toys can be made out of different size and shaped Tupperware containers, plastic cups and bowls, soft handled (non-wood) spatulas, fresh fruits and veggies, and even mom's clothes.
Bowls and cups can be used to stack, build, and hold special items. Fruits and vegetables can be used to practice learning about different colors, sizes, shapes, smells, and textures. And last but not least, mom's clothes can always be used for a never tiring game of dress-up.
